My sister-in-law had the baby on Tuesday. They decided to induce her a day early. My mom was gone when I got home, so I was alone until my dad got home from work. Apparently, my sister-in-law was being a real bitch and they had to knock her out because she had a panic attack. They did an emergency C-section because her blood pressure was too low. I've not seen the baby yet. According to my mom, he's gorgeous.

My dad got all weird on me, pointing out that I am now an aunt. It's sort of like he doesn't remember the last time this happened. Being an aunt is technically nothing new for me. Of course, my sister-in-law knows nothing of that, so I guess he was trying to keep it on the "down-low."

I am debating what my answer should be to the question, "Do you want to hold the baby?"

Also, my brother is being a selfish bitch. He complained of a headache while his wife was in labor. Later, he went into a rant about how he thinks that my mom loves me more than him. Of course that's not true, but he just can't stand for the attention to shift from him to somebody else, even if it's his own wife and child. I want to give him a few broken ribs, and perhaps a concussion.

I've been alone for the majority of the past two days, so it gave me some time to punch pillows and throw things on the floor. I feel like I should apologize to my stuffed animals now. I think I have, however, mastered the art of screaming silently while in the shower. On the other hand, I've temporarily lost my ability to draw well. My proportions are all out of wack. This should be a lot of fun.

Also, happy birthday to Aki, though I'm a day late. I tried drawing something for you on Monday, but, obviously, it's been hell around here. I might get something to you over the weekend. Don't say you don't want gifts--I might not finish it anyway.
